Melbourne IT has five operating divisions: Corporate Brand Services: Reseller; Business & Consumer; Corporate & Government; and FTR.

Corporate Brand Services Division

The internet has become an integral part of modern business. To succeed, companies are maximising their use of new technologies to provide customers with the products and services they demand. As a result of the increasing take up of online services, Corporate Brand Services (CBS) is one of Melbourne IT's fastest growing divisions. Its core business is online brand protection including the management of domain name portfolios for large corporate clients aimed at protecting and maximising the value of brands online - an ever-increasing challenge for many companies. CBS utilises a specialist team to deliver a comprehensive and strategic management solution for corporate domain name portfolios.

Reseller Division

Melbourne IT supplies a technical and support solution for domain name registration and other online business services to a global network of reseller clients. Resellers are given access to Melbourne IT's state of the art domain name registration and maintenance system. Through the 2006 acquisition of WebCentral Group, Melbourne IT now also manages a 2,000-strong partner reseller channel for its hosting and Software as a Service (SaaS) products and provides wholesale hosting and management services to the majority of Australia's telcommunications companies.

Business & Consumer Division

The Business & Consumer division is focused on developing a suite of high value, secure and reliable integrated online solutions for the fast-growing SME sector in Australia and New Zealand. With more than 300,000 customer accounts, Melbourne IT has an established reputation as a trusted provider of online services delivered through its global network of offices and team of professionals, one third of whom are based outside Australia. The acquisition of WebCentral in 2006 has enhanced Melbourne IT's SME product set to include an enviable range of Software as a Service (SaaS) products.

Melbourne IT is committed to the continuing delivery of web-based solutions to its worldwide customer base together with the development of new value-added services.

Corporate & Government Division

Melbourne IT's Corporate & Government division provides high value managed hosting solutions to large clients with specialised requirements, including high security, high performance, disaster recovery and high availability solutions. Melbourne IT operates round the clock telecommunications-grade data centre facilities to support these corporate and government clients, and employs expert technical staff.

With the managed hosting market in Australia predicted to grow by more than 20% CAGR to 2010, Melbourne IT is committed to developing its range of managed services to enhance the value it provides these large clients.

FTR Division

FTR is a leading global provider of rich content management systems for courtrooms, hearing rooms, public meeting venues and law enforcement. With offices in Perth, Australia and Phoenix, USA, FTR trades under the 'For the Record' brand and has more than 15,000 installations of its patented recording system in venues in 30 countries, including The Old Bailey, The World Court the Hague and the High Court of Australia.
