Melbourne IT Corporate Brand Services is the dynamic global brand representing the former Cogent IPC and Melbourne IT Corporate Domain Management divisions. The new brand was launched in September 2005 and builds on the service credentials and expertise of these two former entities that have delivered domain name management, online brand infringement services and web traffic services to corporate and government organisations since 1996.

Domainz is New Zealand's largest and most experienced domain name registrar, which helps New Zealand businesses to make maximum use of the internet to promote their business and grow sales. Melbourne IT acquired Domainz in 2003.

Melbourne IT acquired IDR Management Services in January 2007 and has integrated this business into its Corporate Brand Services division. IDR was a pioneer in the UK corporate domain management space, with an impressive client base of FTSE 100 companies and trademark attorney firms.

FTR was acquired by Melbourne IT in September 2006. Trading under the 'For the Record' brand is a leading global provider of rich content management systems for courtrooms, hearing rooms, public meeting venues and law enforcement. FTR trades has more than 15,000 installations of its patented recording system in venues in 30 countries, including The Old Bailey, The World Court the Hague and the High Court of Australia.

WebCentral is Australia's largest web and application hosting company and a leading supplier of Internet solutions for business, including software as a service (SaaS) solutions such as premium email, electronic commerce, database and email marketing solutions. In addition to its own direct customer base, WebCentral provides wholesale web hosting and email services to the majority of Australia's Tier 1 telecommunications companies. Established in 1997, WebCentral was acquired by Melbourne IT Limited in September 2006.
